Construction works have also begun on the next phase of Conservative-led South Norfolk Council’s investments in Diss.
“We’ve got big plans to regenerate the vacant former car forecourt, which sits in an important location on the edge of our town centre.” explains district & county councillor for Diss, Keith Kiddie.
People can look forward to a new leisure centre with a larger gym, more space for fitness classes & community use, plus a mere-side cafe.
“I’m proud our council has had the positive vision to step in and develop the site.” Keith adds. “This will be another great addition to complement everything else our town already has to offer.”
