Poppy Simister-Thomas is the Conservative Party's Prospective Parliamentary Candidate to fight the next General Election in the new South Norfolk Constituency.
Poppy has enjoyed a successful career in business, where she has held senior positions in the global shipping and energy industries, working in the UK and Switzerland. More recently she has worked a consultant, helping to improve our public services and healthcare organisations and make sure that British taxpayers get the service and value they deserve.
Poppy attended a grammar school, and was the first person in her family to stay at school into Sixth Form and attend to University. She is married to David, a former comprehensive-school maths teacher and headteacher. They have one son, Tristan, an experienced campaigner in his own right, who joined his first delivery session at 8 weeks old.
